How Does Piriton Work?

Piriton contains chlorphenamine, an antihistamine that helps relieve allergy symptoms. It works by blocking histamine receptors in the body. Histamine is a chemical released during an allergic reaction, which causes symptoms such as itching, swelling, a runny nose, and watery eyes. By stopping histamine from attaching to these receptors, chlorphenamine reduces these symptoms and provides relief. This makes Piriton effective for treating hay fever, skin reactions, and other common allergies.
