Product description Perfectil Original Triple Active Tablets 30 Pack
What Perfectil Original is
Perfectil Original (also called Perfectil Triple Active) is a daily beauty multivitamin tablet from Vitabiotics. Each tablet holds 22 vitamins, minerals, and plant contents chosen to support the normal health and appearance of skin, hair, and nails.
Notably, Vitabiotics is the UK’s leading vitamin company by market share. Perfectil is their flagship beauty supplement and the UK’s No.1 beauty supplement brand for over two decades.
Also, Perfectil is the only beauty vitamin in the world to have received the Queen’s Award for Innovation, first given in recognition of the science behind the formula.
Triple active support for skin, hair, and nails
The ‘triple active’ name refers to the three anchor nutrients that make Perfectil work across all three areas:
Biotin (vitamin B7): supports maintenance of normal skin and hair
Zinc: supports maintenance of normal hair, nails, and skin
Selenium: supports maintenance of normal hair and nails
Together, these three cover all three beauty bases with one tablet. In fact, most people don’t get enough of any of these three from diet alone, particularly selenium, where UK soil is naturally low.
Specialist ingredients beyond standard multivitamins
Perfectil also holds specialist contents you won’t find in most general multivitamins:
L-Cystine 10mg: a sulphur-containing amino acid, and one of the main building blocks for keratin (the protein that makes up hair and nails)
Natural mixed carotenoids 2mg: a safer form of vitamin A precursor from plant sources
Grape seed extract 15mg: with 95% proanthocyanidins, plant compounds with antioxidant activity
So these extras support the beauty focus of the formula, which sets Perfectil apart from general adult multivitamins.
How Perfectil works from the inside
Topical products (creams, serums, hair treatments) work on the outside surface. However, skin cells form in the deeper dermal layer. Hair grows from follicles below the scalp surface. Nails grow from the nail bed under the cuticle.
Because these growing tissues need nutrients from your bloodstream, Perfectil takes the internal route. Once absorbed, the nutrients travel through your blood to the dermal layer, hair follicles, and nail beds, supporting new growth from the inside.
As a result, this internal approach complements your usual topical skincare and haircare routine. So the two work together, not against each other.
Food supplement status
Perfectil Original sits in the food supplement category, not the licensed medicine one. This means it doesn’t carry MHRA approval and can’t make medical claims.
So we can only use the approved EU/UK health claims for its nutrients. That means we can’t say the product ‘grows hair’, ‘cures acne’, or ‘guarantees’ anything. However, we can say the nutrients support the normal health and maintenance of skin, hair, and nails.

Where Perfectil fits in beauty and self-care
Good skin, hair, and nail health rests on several foundations: a varied diet with enough protein, hydration, sleep, stress management, gentle topical care, and adequate nutrients. Perfectil covers the nutrient side as insurance against dietary gaps.
Notably, most people don’t consistently eat all the varied foods needed to hit ideal daily intakes of every skin-and-hair-supporting nutrient. So Perfectil fills these gaps in one daily tablet.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Plus Hair
Perfectil Plus Hair is a dual-pack (Perfectil Original tablet plus a targeted hair capsule) with extra biotin, extra selenium, and additional hair-focused nutrients. So choose Plus Hair if hair is your main focus. Choose Original if you want balanced support across skin, hair, and nails without paying more.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Plus Skin
Perfectil Plus Skin is a dual-pack (Perfectil Original tablet plus a Nutri-dermal capsule) with extra biotin, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and coenzyme Q10 for deeper skin support. However, choose Plus Skin if your primary concern is skin quality or ageing. Choose Original if you want balanced beauty support.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Plus Nails
Perfectil Plus Nails is a dual-pack with extra selenium and additional nail-focused nutrients. So choose Plus Nails if brittle, splitting, or slow-growing nails are the main issue you want to address.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Platinum
Perfectil Platinum is the premium anti-ageing formula in the range. It includes higher levels of some antioxidants plus additional ingredients like alpha-lipoic acid, resveratrol, and higher doses of some vitamins. So choose Platinum if you want the most comprehensive anti-ageing beauty support. Choose Original if the standard formula meets your needs.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Max
Perfectil Max is the top-tier product in the range, with even higher nutrient levels plus additional Omega-3, calcium, and specialist antioxidants. Notably, Max is worth considering if you want the most comprehensive formula, though most people don’t need Max levels for good results.
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Beauty Gummies
Perfectil Beauty Gummies are a chewable format with 21 nutrients including biotin, zinc, and selenium. So gummies suit those who can’t or don’t want to swallow tablets. However, tablets generally provide broader coverage than gummies (which have technical limits on how much of certain nutrients can fit).
Perfectil Original vs Perfectil Hair Growth Support Tablets
Perfectil Hair Growth Support is designed specifically for hair growth concerns, with 28 micronutrients including extra biotin and selenium. However, choose that product if hair thinning is your primary concern. For general triple-active beauty support, Perfectil Original suits.
Perfectil Original vs Boots or supermarket own-brand skin/hair/nail vitamins
Own-brand skin, hair, and nail vitamins from Boots, Superdrug, or supermarkets often provide similar coverage of the anchor nutrients (biotin, zinc, selenium) at lower prices. So check the label to see whether they include the specialist contents (L-Cystine, grape seed extract, mixed carotenoids) that Perfectil provides.
Perfectil’s brand advantage is the extensive research background, over two decades of consistent formulation, and the Queen’s Award for Innovation. Own-brands can offer similar core nutrients at lower cost.
Perfectil Original vs standalone biotin
Standalone biotin supplements (often 5,000-10,000 micrograms per capsule) provide much higher doses of biotin than Perfectil’s 45 microgram. However, high-dose biotin can interfere with common blood tests (troponin, TSH), so should be discussed with your doctor before use. Perfectil’s biotin dose fits within normal daily levels.
Perfectil Original vs collagen supplements
Collagen supplements (drinks, powders, capsules) provide collagen peptides or building blocks that may support skin structure. Also, vitamin C (in Perfectil) supports normal collagen formation. So the two approaches can complement each other.
However, if collagen is your specific interest, Perfectil Platinum Collagen Skin Radiance drinks are the targeted product from the same range.
Perfectil Original vs prescribed treatments
For specific conditions (severe acne, alopecia areata, iron deficiency anaemia, thyroid disorders affecting hair), prescribed treatments from your GP or dermatologist are what actually address the underlying cause. Perfectil is a supportive supplement, not a treatment for medical conditions.

Main nutrients in Perfectil Original
Biotin 45 micrograms
Biotin (also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H) supports keratin production, the main structural protein in hair, skin, and nails. So low biotin intake is linked with brittle nails and hair changes.
Approved health claims: biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin.
Zinc 15mg
Zinc plays a role in skin repair, wound healing, hair follicle function, and nail growth. Notably, zinc deficiency causes recognisable skin, hair, and nail changes.
Approved health claims: zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal nails, and normal skin.
Selenium 100 micrograms
Selenium is an antioxidant mineral that supports hair follicle function and nail growth. Because UK soils are naturally low in selenium, dietary intake is often lower than in some other countries.
Approved health claims: selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal nails.
L-Cystine 10mg
L-Cystine is a sulphur-containing amino acid that forms disulphide bonds in keratin. So it's one of the main building blocks of hair and nails.
Grape seed extract 15mg (95% proanthocyanidins)
Grape seed extract holds proanthocyanidins, plant compounds with antioxidant activity. Also, these compounds are among the most studied plant antioxidants in beauty supplements.
Natural mixed carotenoids are plant-derived precursors that the body can convert to vitamin A as needed. So this is a safer form of vitamin A than retinol, which can cause toxicity at high doses.
Vitamin C 60mg
Vitamin C is essential for normal collagen formation. Collagen makes up much of the skin's structural framework.
Approved health claim: vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin.
Iron 12mg
Iron supports normal red blood cell formation and helps reduce tiredness. Notably, iron deficiency is a common cause of hair loss, particularly in women.
Approved health claims: iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, and to reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Iodine 200 micrograms
Iodine supports normal thyroid function, which in turn affects skin, hair, and metabolic health.
Approved health claims: iodine contributes to maintenance of normal skin and to normal thyroid function.
Copper 1mg
Copper supports normal hair and skin pigmentation and is involved in the cross-linking of collagen and elastin.
Full B-complex
Vitamin B1 (thiamin), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6, B9 (folic acid), and B12 all support energy metabolism and various aspects of skin, hair, and nail health.
Vitamin D, E, and other minerals
Vitamin D (5 micrograms), vitamin E (40mg), magnesium (75mg), manganese (0.5mg), and chromium (50?g) round out the 22-nutrient formula, each contributing to broader body function alongside the beauty-focused nutrients.
Other ingredients in Perfectil Original
Contains soya
The vitamin E in Perfectil comes from soya. So if you have a soya allergy, don't use Perfectil. Ask us about soya-free beauty supplement options.
Suitable for vegetarians
Perfectil Original is suitable for vegetarians.
Not suitable for vegans
Vitamin D3 (from lanolin) makes standard Perfectil unsuitable for vegans. Ask us about vegan beauty supplement options.
What Perfectil Original doesn't contain
Gluten-free, lactose-free, yeast-free. No preservatives. No artificial colours. Not tested on animals.
Tablet excipients
The tablet includes standard multivitamin excipients including microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate, magnesium oxide, and film coating materials. Check the current pack label for the full ingredient list.
What is Perfectil Original for?
Supporting normal skin health
Biotin, riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), iodine, and zinc all contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Also, vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for skin structure.
Supporting normal hair health
Biotin, zinc, and selenium all contribute to the maintenance of normal hair. So together, these three cover the main hair-focused nutritional bases.
Supporting normal nail health
Zinc and selenium contribute to the maintenance of normal nails. Also, L-Cystine provides a keratin building block that supports nail structure.
Supporting normal energy and reducing tiredness
Iron, vitamin B12, folic acid, riboflavin, niacin, and pantothenic acid all contribute to reducing tiredness and fatigue. Notably, feeling tired often shows in skin and hair too.
Antioxidant support
Vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium, zinc, and grape seed extract (proanthocyanidins) all provide antioxidant support against oxidative stress, which affects skin, hair, and nails over time.
Filling common nutritional gaps
Even with a good diet, many adults fall short on some nutrients important for skin, hair, and nail health, particularly biotin, selenium, and zinc. So Perfectil fills these gaps as insurance.
What Perfectil Original isn't for
Not for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Use Pregnacare Original, Plus, Max, or Breast-feeding instead.
Not for children. Perfectil is designed for adult nutritional needs and contains iron levels not suitable for children.
Not for treating diagnosed medical conditions. Alopecia, severe acne, iron deficiency anaemia, thyroid disorders, and other conditions need proper medical assessment and treatment, not just a supplement.
Not for use alongside other multivitamins, cod liver oil, or standalone vitamin A supplements.
Not a substitute for a healthy diet, adequate hydration, sleep, and stress management.
Not for use during isotretinoin (Roaccutane) treatment without checking with your dermatologist, because Perfectil contains vitamin A precursors.
How does Perfectil Original work?
Nutrient replacement and gap-filling
Perfectil delivers a broad range of beauty-focused nutrients daily. Because each nutrient has a specific role in normal skin, hair, and nail function, together they cover common dietary gaps.
Internal delivery to growing tissues
Once absorbed, the nutrients travel through the bloodstream to the tissues that grow skin, hair, and nails. So skin cells form in the deeper dermal layer, hair grows from follicles below the scalp, and nails grow from the nail bed under the cuticle. These growing tissues all need a steady supply of nutrients from your blood.
Also, topical products can only support the outer surface layers. Perfectil supports the deeper growing tissues where new skin, hair, and nail material forms.
Why timing (2-3 months minimum) matters
Skin cells take around 28 days to move from the dermal layer to the surface. Hair grows about 1cm per month. Nails grow about 3mm per month. So visible improvements take weeks to months to appear, not days.
Therefore, 2-3 months of consistent daily use gives the fairest test of whether Perfectil suits you. In practice, quick judgments after a few weeks miss the point of how beauty supplements actually work.
Steady-state nutrient levels
Daily consistent dosing builds and maintains steady nutrient levels in your body. Also, this is more effective than sporadic higher doses, and safer than trying to catch up with mega-doses.
Treatment dosage for Perfectil Original
At a glance
For: adults
Dose: one tablet daily
Timing: with your main meal (any time of day)
Duration: continuous daily use. Best results at 2-3 months and beyond
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose
Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle
Standard adult dose
Take one tablet daily with your main meal. Swallow whole with water or a cold drink. Do not chew.
Any main meal works (breakfast, lunch, or dinner). So pick a time that fits your routine. Taking with food helps absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins and reduces the chance of stomach upset from iron.
When to expect results
Perfectil doesn't work overnight. Because skin cells take around 28 days to turn over, hair grows about 1cm per month, and nails grow about 3mm per month, most people notice benefits after 2-3 months of daily use.
For hair, changes take longer to show because it takes months for new growth to reach a visible length. In practice, expect meaningful hair benefits at 3-6 months, not weeks.
How long to keep taking Perfectil
Perfectil works with ongoing daily use, not as a short course. So most people take it long-term as part of their beauty routine. Taking a month off occasionally is fine.
However, if you don't see or feel any benefit after 3-4 months of consistent use, consider whether an underlying issue (thyroid, iron deficiency, other skin condition) needs medical assessment rather than just a supplement.
For men
Perfectil is often thought of as a women's supplement, but it's suitable for men too. However, men with hair loss concerns might get better targeted support from products focused on male pattern baldness, which is a specific hormonal condition that a general beauty multi won't address.
Not for pregnancy or breastfeeding
Don't use Perfectil during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Instead, switch to Pregnacare Original, Plus, Max, or Conception during pregnancy, and Pregnacare Breast-feeding after birth.
Pregnacare has pregnancy-specific nutrient levels (higher folic acid, safer vitamin A form, appropriate iron). Perfectil is designed for general adult beauty support, not pregnancy nutrition.
Missed doses
If you miss a day, take the tablet as soon as you remember. However, if you don't remember until the next day, just carry on with your normal dose. Don't take two tablets in one day to catch up.
How to take Perfectil Original
Standard use
Take one tablet daily with your main meal. Swallow whole with water or a cold drink.
Swallow whole
Swallow the tablet whole. Don't chew or crush it. If tablet swallowing is difficult, ask us about Perfectil Beauty Gummies or Perfectil 7 Second Beauty Shots, which are alternative formats from the same range.
Take with your main meal
Food helps absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E) and the plant extracts. Also, it reduces the chance of stomach upset from iron, which can happen on an empty stomach.
Any main meal of the day works. So pick a time that fits your routine (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) and stick with it for consistency.
Not with tea or coffee
Avoid taking Perfectil at the same time as tea or coffee. Because tannins in tea and compounds in coffee can reduce iron absorption, leave at least an hour between your tablet and these drinks.
Consistency matters
Try to take Perfectil at the same time each day. So setting a phone reminder, keeping the pack somewhere visible, or linking the tablet to a daily routine (like brushing teeth after dinner) all help build the habit.
Don't take more than one a day
The one-tablet daily dose is designed to give safe daily levels of each nutrient. However, taking more can push iron, iodine, and other nutrients above safe levels.
Don't combine with other multivitamins
Avoid taking Perfectil alongside another multivitamin, cod liver oil, or standalone vitamin A supplement. Combined intake can push some nutrients above safe levels.
However, standalone vitamin D, single-nutrient supplements, or non-vitamin products (like collagen powders, probiotics, or omega-3) can usually be combined. Ask us if you're unsure.
Storage
Store the pack in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Keep the container sealed. Keep well out of reach of children (the iron content can be harmful in accidental overdose).
Warnings and precautions for Perfectil Original
Not for pregnancy or breastfeeding
Don't use Perfectil during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Instead, switch to Pregnacare Original, Plus, Max, or Conception during pregnancy, and Pregnacare Breast-feeding after birth.
Not for children
Not suitable for children. So keep the pack sealed and well out of reach of children (the iron content can be harmful in accidental overdose).
Don't combine with other multivitamins
Perfectil replaces other multivitamins. However, combining products can push some nutrients above safe levels, particularly vitamin A precursors, iron, and iodine.
Don't combine with cod liver oil or standalone vitamin A
Cod liver oil contains retinol (vitamin A) at levels that can push total intake above safe limits when combined with a multivitamin. So avoid this combination.
Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) treatment
Because isotretinoin (Roaccutane) is a form of vitamin A used for severe acne, adding a multivitamin with vitamin A precursors can push total vitamin A intake too high. Discuss with your dermatologist before combining.
Haemochromatosis or iron-loading conditions
The iron content isn't suitable if you have haemochromatosis or other iron-loading conditions. So ask us about iron-free beauty supplement options.
Thyroid conditions
The iodine content can affect thyroid function. So if you have thyroid disease (over-active or under-active thyroid), discuss with your GP before starting.
Soya allergy
Perfectil contains soya (in the vitamin E). So don't use if you have a soya allergy.
Interactions with certain medicines
Discuss with your GP or pharmacist before starting if you take:
Levothyroxine (iron reduces absorption, space by 4 hours)
Quinolone antibiotics like ciprofloxacin (iron reduces absorption)
Bisphosphonates like alendronic acid (calcium reduces absorption)
Isotretinoin or oral retinoids (vitamin A stacking)
Warfarin (no strong interaction, but tell your clinic about any new supplement)
Any prescribed medicines for long-term conditions
Signs of allergic reaction
Rare allergic reactions to ingredients are possible (particularly for those with soya allergy). Symptoms include rash, itching, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty. So call 999 if severe.
Overdose
Don't take more than one tablet daily. Accidental overdose can push vitamin A precursors, iron, and iodine above safe levels. Seek medical advice immediately if a child accidentally takes multiple tablets.
Driving and machinery
No expected effects on driving or using machinery.
Alcohol
No direct interaction with alcohol at moderate intake. However, heavy alcohol use affects skin quality, hair health, and nutrient absorption, which undermines the benefits of Perfectil.
Side effects of Perfectil Original
Common side effects
Perfectil Original is generally well tolerated. However, mild stomach upset, nausea, or constipation can happen, especially if taken on an empty stomach. Taking with food usually helps.
Dark stools
The iron content can cause dark or black stools. So this is normal and doesn't indicate bleeding. However, very dark, sticky, foul-smelling stools may indicate upper gut bleeding, so see your doctor if unsure.
Constipation
Iron can cause constipation. Adequate fibre, fluids, and gentle exercise help.
Nausea
Taking Perfectil on an empty stomach can cause mild nausea. So taking with a full meal usually solves this.
Allergic reactions (rare)
Rare allergic reactions to ingredients are possible, particularly for those with soya allergy. Symptoms include rash, itching, facial swelling, or breathing difficulty.
Skin reactions (rare)
Ironically, a small number of people notice a temporary worsening of skin (breakouts, rashes) when starting a new multivitamin. This is usually short-lived. However, if severe or persistent, stop and speak to us or your GP.
Yellowish skin colour with heavy carrot juice + carotenoid intake
Notably, very high intakes of carotenoids from all sources (Perfectil plus lots of carrots, sweet potato, spinach) can occasionally cause a harmless yellow-orange tinge to the skin (carotenaemia). So this fades when intake reduces.
Serious side effects requiring urgent help
Above all, seek urgent medical help for signs of severe allergic reaction (facial or throat swelling, breathing difficulty, widespread rash). Call 999.
Drug interactions with Perfectil Original
Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) and oral retinoids
Perfectil contains vitamin A precursors (beta-carotene and mixed carotenoids). So combining with isotretinoin can push total vitamin A intake above safe levels. Discuss with your dermatologist before combining.
Levothyroxine
Iron in the formula reduces levothyroxine absorption. Take levothyroxine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and Perfectil at least 4 hours later.
Quinolone antibiotics
Ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, and other quinolones bind with iron and calcium, reducing absorption. Leave at least 2 hours between Perfectil and these antibiotics.
Tetracycline antibiotics
Doxycycline, tetracycline, and lymecycline also bind with iron and calcium. So space by 2 hours.
Bisphosphonates
Alendronic acid, risedronate, and other bisphosphonates need an empty stomach with just water. Space Perfectil by at least 2 hours.
Other multivitamins or fish oils
Don't combine Perfectil with other multivitamins, cod liver oil, or standalone vitamin A supplements. Combined intake can push some nutrients above safe levels.
Standalone iron supplements
Don't take extra iron supplements alongside Perfectil unless prescribed by your GP for confirmed iron deficiency. Perfectil contains 12mg iron already.
Standalone biotin supplements
Don't combine Perfectil with high-dose biotin supplements (usually 5,000?g or higher). Also, high-dose biotin can interfere with some blood tests, so mention any supplement to your doctor before blood work.
Alcohol
No direct interaction. However, heavy alcohol use affects skin, hair, and nutrient absorption.
Frequently asked questions about Perfectil Original
What is Perfectil used for?
Daily nutritional support for skin, hair, and nail health in adults. It provides 22 vitamins, minerals, and plant contents chosen for their contribution to normal skin, hair, and nail function.
When will I see results?
Most people notice benefits after 2-3 months of daily use. So skin cells take about 28 days to turn over, hair grows about 1cm per month, and nails grow about 3mm per month. Meaningful hair changes usually take 3-6 months to show.
Is Perfectil the same as Perfectil Triple Active?
Yes. Perfectil Original and Perfectil Triple Active are the same product. Notably, Vitabiotics has used both names over the years for their base beauty multivitamin.
How much should I take?
One tablet daily with your main meal. Don't take more than one a day.
Should I take Perfectil with food?
Yes. Food helps absorption of the fat-soluble vitamins and reduces the chance of stomach upset from iron. Any main meal works.
Can I take Perfectil during pregnancy?
No. Use Pregnacare Original, Plus, Max, or Conception during pregnancy instead. Pregnacare has pregnancy-specific nutrient levels that Perfectil doesn't provide.
Can I take Perfectil while breastfeeding?
No. Switch to Pregnacare Breast-feeding after delivery.
Can men take Perfectil?
Yes. Perfectil is suitable for men too, though it's often marketed to women. However, men with male pattern baldness may get better results from products targeted at that specific condition.
Can teenagers take Perfectil?
Perfectil is designed for adults, not children. So teenagers should ask their GP or pharmacist before starting adult multivitamins, as the iron and iodine levels may not suit their nutritional needs.
How long does the 30-tablet pack last?
One month at one tablet per day.
Is Perfectil suitable for vegetarians?
Yes.
Is Perfectil suitable for vegans?
No. The vitamin D3 (from lanolin) makes standard Perfectil unsuitable for vegans.
Is Perfectil gluten-free?
Yes. It's gluten-free, lactose-free, and yeast-free.
Does Perfectil contain soya?
Yes. The vitamin E comes from soya. So don't use Perfectil if you have a soya allergy.
Can I take Perfectil with other multivitamins?
No. Perfectil replaces other multivitamins. Combining can push some nutrients above safe levels.
Can I take Perfectil with cod liver oil?
No. Cod liver oil contains vitamin A (retinol) at levels that can push total intake above safe limits when combined with Perfectil.
What if I miss a day?
Take the tablet as soon as you remember. However, if you don't remember until the next day, just carry on with your normal dose. Don't double up.
Can I take Perfectil while on Roaccutane (isotretinoin)?
Discuss with your dermatologist first. So because isotretinoin is a form of vitamin A, adding a multivitamin with vitamin A precursors can push total intake too high.
Does Perfectil grow hair?
Perfectil supports the maintenance of normal hair. However, it isn't a hair growth medicine. For diagnosed hair loss (alopecia, male pattern baldness, telogen effluvium), see your GP or dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment.
Does Perfectil clear acne?
No. Perfectil supports normal skin health but doesn't treat acne. So for acne, see your GP or dermatologist for medical treatment options (topical retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, antibiotics, hormonal treatments, or isotretinoin in severe cases).
Do I need a prescription for Perfectil?
No. It's a food supplement, available without prescription.
What if I have thyroid disease?
Discuss with your GP first. Because the iodine content can affect thyroid function, this needs review before starting.
Do I still need to eat healthily if I take Perfectil?
Absolutely yes. Perfectil doesn't replace a healthy diet. Instead, it provides insurance against nutritional gaps, not a substitute for good nutrition, hydration, sleep, and stress management, which all matter more for skin, hair, and nails than any supplement alone.
